We believe that there is one, and only one, living and true God, an infinite, intelligent Spirit; the Maker and Supreme Ruler of heaven and earth; inexpressibly glorious in holiness, and worthy of all possible honor, confidence, and love.
We believe that in the unity of the Godhead there are three persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, who are one God, the Holy Trinity: three persons in one divine essence, equal in every divine perfection, and executing distinct but harmonious offices in the great work of redemption:
We believe in God the Father, who from all eternity purposed the redemption of His people, who created all things by the word of His power, and who governs all things according to His sovereign will and unfailing goodness.
We believe in God the Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, the eternal Word who became flesh; the visible image of the invisible God; the appointed mediator between God and man, our Prophet, Priest, and King; who by His life, death, and resurrection accomplished the redemption of His people, and who now reigns at the right hand of the Father where He ever lives to intercede for us.
We believe in God the Holy Spirit, who proceeds from the Father and the Son; who convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment; who regenerates the hearts of the elect, indwells every believer, seals us for the day of redemption, and empowers the church for holiness and witness in the world.
